Kerana aku selalu lupa #5

Cukuplah aku rabun.
Cukup terseksa.
Spek seolah-olah pengganti nyawa.
Tanpa spek hidup tak bermakna.
Naiklah Spaceshot setinggi mana, kena tanggal spek masa naik, apa gunanya?
Tak nampak satu apa.
Mana nikmatnya?
Bayangkan bila buta.
Meraba-raba.

"Maka tidak pernahkah mereka berjalan di bumi sehingga hati (akal) mereka dapat memahami, telinga mereka dapat mendengar? Sebenarnya bukan mata itu yang buta, tetapi yang buta ialah hati yang di dalam dada." (22:46)

Cukuplah aku rabun,
sekurang-kurangnya ada spek tolong kasi clear.
Kalau buta macam mana?

Kerana aku selalu lupa #4

"For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb; - those who understand not."
"Sesungguhnya sejahat-jahat makhluk yang melata, pada sisi (hukum dan ketetapan) Allah, ialah orang-orang yang pekak lagi bisu, yang tidak mahu memahami sesuatupun (dengan akal fikirannya)."
(8:22)

Berusaha untuk memahami wahai Smak.
Jangan malas-malas!
Lari laju-laju.

Ciao, Italia

I went to other parts of Italy which I did not have the chance to visit last year. Italy was awesome, but I am getting bored with Europe. Generally all the European countries have to offer are mainly churches, statues and museums. I adore buildings, architecture and whatnots but I am more attracted to breathtaking sceneries and landscapes, I suppose. Nature, to sum up. Take Eiffel tower for instance, having went there last year I still don't get what's with the fuss over it. The design is somewhat similar to Tokyo Tower (in my humble opinion), so there is not much to say about that. Romantic? From what I see Italians are more passionate and very openly show their romantic side regardless of whether it was in the middle of a junction on a busy road. Anyway, it is my personal opinion so sorry if you disagree. You are entitled to your own, I have no say to that. Hmm, lets just skip my boring ramblings, shall we?

Pisa
Small town, nothing much apart from the leaning tower.

Florence
Nice town, perfect for art lovers and architecture students. The Duomo is beautifully constructed but we were wondering why does it have very few windows, mesti panas dalam tu.

Venice
Beautiful. The smaller canals are a bit smelly though.

Verona
It has a small building which resembles colloseum, very much to my dismay because I kind of  have this perception that they build it purposely to add the number of attractions in the city. Anyhoo, the city is famous for its Juliet statue. Go watch Letters to Juliet, though as usual, the place looks a bit different from what was shown in the movie.

Milan
The city centre is a heaven for rich people; read: Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc..all perfectly lined up in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuel. This is not the galleria though, this is the famous Duomo in Milan.

Summing up, Italy is worth a visit, should you ever plan to go to Europe.

P/s: I re-read what I wrote and I am now convinced that I can never be a travel journalist. I make everything looks dull.

"The rush of hot blood into the heart is the darkest magic, and it must be tamed." - Dorabella Toscano, A Young Man with Prospects

How our feelings and emotions are connected with our physical body, is mind boggling, really.
I like pain, but this is not it. This is different.
And my threshold for this peculiar sensation is not as high as I think it will be.
Prophylaxis measures are crucial.
Stay away, oh stimulus.
At least until we have the cure.
Tame it, we will.
