I have never been a fanatic about anything. Seriously. You guys may think I was obsessed with Super Junior or Johnny Depp based on my previous blog posts, but to be frank, I was just...going with the flow. Well, you see, everyone has their own obsession. Generally, guys are obsessed with... bola. Duhh, what else? Oh, hampir terlupa their biggest obsession - perempuan. Correct me if I am wrong, but even a guy friend of mine recently posted this on his facebook status: "Orang super saiya juga ade kelemahan ---> cici.." and my dear friend Mr M tweeted, "For even the strongest of men, his greatest weakness will be the woman he falls in love with." Oh, we get it. We are irresistible. Hehe. [Some of you may say that this is a weakness rather than obsession but why would a woman be a weakness to a man if he is not preoccupied with her? Boleh kira jugak la kan].
Anyway, that is not my point. What I would like to bebel here is the fact that I don't have any obsession over anything. That Super Junior thing? Yea I know a couple of their songs and some of their dance moves..but what makes me attracted to them in the first place was their reality tv shows which were really funny. Without my Suju-fans housemates, honestly, I won't know anything about them. Like right now, I have no idea what they are doing. Oh wait, I do know they are currently busy with their SS3 concert since I was tagged in a photo on facebook, but I did not feel anything. No jealousy although I did not get to go to their concert. Looks like I am over them. I even unfollow all the Kpop twitter pages I used to follow. I still love watching Korean shows and movies though.
I realize I don't have favourites. Not many, at least. There are very few things/people I can name as my favourites. People should have their personal preference a.k.a most favourite thing, no? Colours, for example. Any colour is fine with me, provided they are mix and match beautifully. Food? Okay this one is better, I think I prefer spicy compared to others. Favourite actor? I don't have one initially, but that would be too boring, so I decided Johnny Depp would be a cool actor to fav. I like Bruce Willis too actually. And Will Smith. And Won Bin, of course. Ice-cream flavour? Chocolate is always good. Vanilla is compulsory. Mint spices things up. All the other common flavours are of equal preference. Song? I love Muse but I am also a fan of Jason Mraz. I listen to coldplay, lifehouse, celine dion, lenka, faizal tahir, yuna, utada hikaru, yadayadayada. But do I know all of their songs? No. I am never a fanatic.
Geez. I like everything and everyone, ain't I?
People will always ask you what your favourite things are. Because they somehow define your characteristics. "Oh, you like blue? You must be a romantic." "Your favourite time of the day is dawn? Very optimistic, indeed." That is why having no favourites (or too much) can be very bothersome.
It can pose a problem to people around you as well. "What should we give Smak for her birthday? Hmm lets just buy a t-shirt of her favourite colour. Errr. What colour? Okay, nevermind, why don't we make her favourite cake. Okay, which cake will that be?" Don't ask me, for even I am not sure of that.
On another note, however, it is easier since I will be okay with almost anything. Quoting my classmate Mcja a.k.a future Dato FK, "Smak ni bagi benda-benda cantik dan pelik je okay dah." If your definition of cantik is the same as mine, then semuanya menjadi mudah kan.
Clock strikes two. Time to sleep. To be continued (or not)..

Attention deficit disorder
I have only the faintest memory of this "artwork", however this was evidently the result of my note-taking activity during a Chemistry class in my pre-U time. Uploaded by my dear classmate in INTEC, Nad. She was running through her old stuff recently and stumbled upon this in one of her notebooks.
My character was the girl with mucus hanging from the nose, much like Bo chan from Shin Chan comic. Flu is my arch nemesis, there's nothing I can do about it.
Uh oh I cant recall the name of Chemistry lecturer, was it Ms Lim?
Yes, this is as far as my talent in drawing goes.

Art
Meet Artemisinin, a small Panda with a big heart.
You can call him Art for short.
Name trivia:
Artemisinin is actually the name of an antimalarial drug, or more specifically, a fast-acting blood schizontocide which can pass the blood-brain barrier hence the use to treat cerebral malaria in China. It is a natural product from a Chinese traditional medicinal plant Artemisia annua a.k.a Sweet Wormwood. It has high affinity for haemozoin, therefore it accumulates selectively in the malaria parasite. Under influence of iron, the peroxide bridge in artemisinin breaks down and release the free radicals that are thought to kill the parasite. It can also act by inhibition of cellular Ca++ pump.
Since panda originated from China, the name Artemisinin suits him well, don't you think.
Psst: I have a Biopharmacy 5 test this Monday. Wish me luck!

Our beloved.
"How one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades." - THOMAS CARLYLE in his HEROES AND HERO-WORSHIP
A well known writer, Rev. Bosworth Smith, in his well known book "Mohammad and Mohammadanism":
Dr Michael H. Hart ranked Mohammed first in the list, who contributed towards the benefit and uplift of mankind:
Prof K. S. Ramakrishna Rao in his book 'Mohammed: The Prophet of Islam' writes:
Considering how deep is his love for us, and that his last words were "Ummati, ummati, ummati (my people, my people, my people)"...the least I can do now is to honour his legacy. May I live up to his expectations and be able to follow his lead. Chaiyok, Smak!
Quotes are taken from this website.
"Head of the State as well as of the Church, he was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without Pope's pretensions, Caesar without the legion of Caesar. Without a standing army, without a body-guard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue, if ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by the right divine, it was Mohammad, for he had all the power without its instructions and without its supports."
Dr Michael H. Hart ranked Mohammed first in the list, who contributed towards the benefit and uplift of mankind:
"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels." (M.H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York, 1978, p. 33)
Prof K. S. Ramakrishna Rao in his book 'Mohammed: The Prophet of Islam' writes:
"The personality of Muhammad is most difficult to get the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of him I can catch. What dramatic succession of picturesque scenes? There is Muhammad the Prophet; there is Muhammad the General; Muhammad the King; Muhammad the Warrior; Muhammad the Businessman; Muhammad the Preacher; Muhammad the Philosopher; Muhammad the Statesman; Muhammad the Orator; Muhammad the Reformer; Muhammad the Refuge of Orphans; Muhammad the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad the Judge; Muhammad the Saint... In all these magnificent roles and in all these departments of human activities he is equally a hero."
Considering how deep is his love for us, and that his last words were "Ummati, ummati, ummati (my people, my people, my people)"...the least I can do now is to honour his legacy. May I live up to his expectations and be able to follow his lead. Chaiyok, Smak!

Extremely Chocolatey Chocolate Brownies Mini Bites
Final semester sucks. Almost every week I have a deadline to meet. Busy and boring. The most interesting thing that happened today would be...pemakaian t-shirt terbalik. Secara tak sengaja terpakai tshirt dengan terbalik, and even when I realised it I could not be bothered untuk betulkan. But of course, duduk rumah jela.
Lets see, what else is worth to blab about...
I watched Killers, starring Ashton Kutcher and hmm..whats her name..I can't recall. I'm sure a lot of you know her, the girl in 27 dresses. The movie is..typical. Haha. Both Ashton and that co-star look hot though.
Oh, I have just watched Taekgukgi (not sure of the spelling, too lazy to google). It's a Korean movie which I have known from years ago but never had the chance to watch till recently. It tells the story of two brothers who are forced to join the army when the war between North Korea and South Korea erupted. One of the best Korean film ever. Highly recommended. Ada scene mengerikan tapi not that ngeri for me. Won Bin played the younger brother, and he was awesome! Another movie of him I think is worth watching is The Man From Nowhere. Ini juga ada sikit scenes ngeri. Come to think of it, my tolerance to kengerian is quite high kot.
Lalalalala..Apa lagi. Apa lagi.
I have gained weight. Perut sudah buncit tak dapat disembunyikan lagi. Sobs. Nak exercise tapi I don't really like going to the gym. Nak jog tapi sekarang is still winter, sejuk! Alasan, alasan. I think I can blame my housemates for the weight gain since they cooked delicious food all the time. Makan sekarang siap ada dessert, amboi. Nasib baik tak ikut omputih buat starter sekali. Diet? Not possible at all. I love my food. For the time being, as long as my BMI does not reach the "overweight" section, I am good.
What even more worrying is my cholesterol level. Sini banyak makan kambing owh. Beef lagi mahal. Nampaknya perlu makan oat to reduce the cholesterol level. Despite the fact that I don't really know what's the current level, ambil je langkah berhati-hati kan. I already got a family history of heart disease, cancer and whatnots as a risk factor, so being healthy is kind of important to me.
It's already 1 am. I need to sleep or else I'll be munching these flapjacks mini bites non-stop. I finished one tub of extremely chocolatey chocolate brownies mini bites in just 2 days! I can actually finish it in a go, but I realised that is just too extreme so I held myself back. Now I'm craving for more.
Ah, the simple pleasures in life...
are actually dangerous.

Inilah yang orang kata..
Dari mata jatuh ke hati.
Terus nak edit letak hearts itu sebab Alif comel sangat bila gelak.
Adikku Aiman bercerita,
"Alif pura-pura tidur sebenarnya.
Pastu bila orang datang jenguk, dia gelak.
Senyum menakutkan pulak tu. Tiba-tiba je."
Kecik-kecik dah pandai trick orang yer Alif.
Memang nephew saya.
Jatuh hati!

Aal Izz Well.
I came across this:
Rasulullah (SAW) said:
“Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his, and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer: For if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (Allah), thus there is good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (enduring it patiently), there is good for him in it.” [Muslim]
Which reminds me of this movie:
Familiar with these three idiots? I'm not going to post a movie review this time, so if you still have not watched it, please do. It was funny and moving at the same time.
Can't see the connection?
They carry the same message, that regardless of the circumstances, everything is actually good, especially for a believer. We should put our complete trust in Him, jangan sekali-kali bersangka buruk, for He knows best.
Aamir Khan stressed on this with the famous 3 idiots quote, "Aal izz well!" (all is well). Positivity, I think, is the key point.
"If you make intense supplication and the timing of the answer is delayed, do not despair of it. His reply to you is guaranteed; but in the way He chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment He desires, not the moment you desire." –Ibn Ata’Allah
Have faith, don't lose hope.
