Tengah nak exam maka malas nak update blog. Tapi kesian tengok tersadai begini.
So here goes bebelan bosan sempena study week.
Banyak gila nama ubat tak hafal lagi! Arghhh.
Bukan nama je, indications, side effects, mechanism of action, formula tak payah cakap la. Aih.
Takut! Do pray for me!
Oh dah ade date nak tengok Alice in Wonderland after exam. Yeay! Tak sabar nak jumpa Johnny! Doop jangan lupa book kan ticket ok!
Oh about a particular matter, to those who know, please keep it low. You know how secretive I am.
What a chaotic week. Looking forward to end of exam. Cepatlah, malas sudah.
Till then, chaiyok Smak!

Hidden messages are everywhere..
...it's only a matter of whether you are keen enough to notice them.
Teringat masa keluar dengan housemates + Anith + Tom baru-baru ini, tengok Wolfman yang tak best langsung (kecewa). As we were leaving, I went to the autopay, nak bayar parking and Tom handed me a RM10 note for the parking fee. I inserted the ticket, "2.00" showed up on the screen, along with
Change. Is. Possible. Got it. I will keep that in mind. I don't think I will ever have the doubt anymore. Haha.
In the end I rummaged through my purse and found the RM2. My oh my, it is possible.

Terkejut sebentar. I know it may be a technical error, tapi macam ada mesej yang hendak disampaikan."Change is possible"

Smash that egg!
Mak & ayah pergi banyak sangat kenduri cuti ni. Bunga telur bersepah-sepah. Eman tiba-tiba cabar,
"Kau boleh genggam telur ni sampai pecah tak?"
Telur rebus. Heh. Macam fragile je. So I tried. Dengan sepenuh hati. Kuat gila ni sampai urat-urat keluar. Tapi telur itu seakan-akan menyanyi gembira dengan genggaman aku. Enjoying the warmth from my hands. Cesss. Tiba-tiba,
"Prakkkk!"
Eman pecahkan telur rebus di genggamannya. Shitto.
"Eleh, telur tu yang senang pecah--"
Eman took the egg in my hand and seconds after,
"Prakkkk!"
Fine. Fine. Bukan faktor telur.
Eman cakap dulu dia tak boleh pecahkan, tapi sekarang dia dah kuat tahap tertinggi sampai boleh pecahkan telur rebus tu.
So I am now curious. Memang betul Eman kuat ke memang all guys can do that? If you are a guy then it will be a great help if you can try menggenggam telur rebus sampai pecah and tell me the result. Perempuan tak payahlah, buang masa je. Unless you are a female wrestler or selalu angkat berat ke, memang tak boleh punya.
So guys, are you up for the challenge?

HTAR tak best
I don't really like hospitals.
I've been scolded by my tutor, Dr. Kang during the first meeting with him in my first semester, for blatantly stating that. I remember the exact details of the moment because I was practically on the verge of tears when he said, "you probably shouldn't be here". I had just entered my first semester and I was already told to quit by the Assoc. Prof! Can you imagine how that feel? He also nagged on some other things like, "how can you be a teacher when you don't like schools?" Yadayadayada.
Okay, first, when I said I don't like hospitals, that does not mean I can't work in them. I don't like Mouth(refer to one of my old post, too lazy to link), but I still can work with him. I used to hate veggies, then I decided to eat them for my health, and now my meal is never complete without the greens. Got it? There is this thing we called "preference" in life, which is quite troublesome at times but we just have to learn to deal with it.
Second, pharmacists don't only work in hospitals. Duhhhhh. There are tons of other places e.g: community pharmacies, industrial pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, veterinary, military, academic, health informatics, etc, etc.
Third, do you honestly think all teachers like school?????
Okay, I'm being quite emo-ish.
Sebenarnya nak cerita pasal hospital attachment tadi je. Haha. Since my case was an asthmatic patient, I learned how a nebuliser was administered, saw the patient measuring his peak expiratory flow rate, checked whether he knows how to properly use his inhaler, that sort of stuff. The most interesting thing is..hurm..when the patient on the next bed was having an epileptic fit. Never saw it before.
Oh, there was this one patient who thought we were nurses and went, "Misi! Misi! Sini darah sudah keluar la! Misi!". There was no nurses around so I didn't know what to do. Luckily Mr David went to get one of the nurses, so I told him "sekejap ya pakcik,". There were visitors around at that time and they were looking dengan sangat pelik at me. I was shouting in my head, "Can't you see whats written on the white coat? It's PHARMACY! I'm not the nurse nor a medical student, you can't blame me for not doing anything! Geez!"
I have my reasons for not liking hospitals- fyi, they are of no concern to blood, injections, or the stuff most people find gory or gross. I know I have to work in a hospital and probably will work there for the rest of my life, if that is true then I will just have to deal with it. No sweat.

Sebab musabab
I got the reasons above from Adib. I personally think it's quite true. Hohoho. ;P
This one at the bottom is from Dynat.
1. We feel entitled.
Gottlieb: “Women try to be good friends to each other. We say, ‘You deserve this, you’re so great! You’re such a good catch! Any man would be lucky!’ [Men don’t say that to each other.] We are good catches, but we also are human and we’re not perfect and somebody’s going to have to put up with us for the rest of his life. And we forget. My dating coach said, write down all the reasons a guy would not want to date you. At first I didn’t think I had that many things, because you think you’re a pretty good catch. He said, what you think of as quirky, endearing, and cute, is really annoying to someone else. But he would love you so much that he would overlook that. And you need to overlook things in him. Everybody has to compromise.”2. We think we have unlimited options.Gottlieb: “You walk into a store and you know you want a sweater and it has to go with this outfit and it has to be this color, and you’d like to be on sale. You find something great, but you wonder if there’s something better out there, so you keep searching. In the end, after three more weeks of searching for the perfect sweater—was it so much better than the one you could have bought originally? Whether it’s with men or sweaters…if you just think you have unlimited options for the rest of your life, of course you’ll keep looking, who wouldn’t?”3. We’re judgmental.
Gottlieb: “The guys I interviewed for the book said women judge them so much. Women gave me 300 reasons they wouldn’t go on a second date with a guy, and men gave 3. When guys are ready for that stage of life, they find someone who is good enough that they’re totally in love with—but that person may not seem to the outside world to be as appealing in superficial ways—maybe she’s not as accomplished or funny as the last girl. Whatever he sees in her, he does. Guys don’t sit and micro-analyze a woman the way a woman would with a man. He knows she’s not as hot as the last girl he dated, but that’s okay. She’s hot enough.”4. We’re pickier than men.
Gottlieb: “With online dating, we judge based on objective criteria (height, sports nut), rather than subjective (attraction), which you can’t judge until you meet the person. When you read other people’s profiles, don’t make assumptions or rule them out because of one thing they wrote. You can fall in love with a guy who wrote that he likes Madonna, but you can’t fall in love with a guy who isn’t kind.”5. We go for the alpha males.
Gottlieb: “In cities where you find a lot of really ambitious, Type A, driven people, like in NYC and L.A., with the entertainment business and Wall Street…you get a lot of ‘maximizers’ [people who keep looking over their shoulder for something better]. Maximizer women date maximizer men. They will be just as picky in a bad and unhealthy way. The men who are actually available and wanting commitment and who are smart and funny and cute—maybe one guy is a little bit shorter, so he’s not getting the women. Maybe he’s not smooth initially or in big groups, but he is one-on-one. These are the kind of people who when you’re 35, 45, 55, that you’ll be happy with when you’re married, and the guy who is super charming at the party and has the crowd of women around him, maybe he’s not going to make as good of a husband. Maybe he’s not going to call you back. That guy is going to be judgmental and picky, and who wants that?”6. We think, “I love me more.”Gottlieb: “We don’t need a man. We don’t. But if you want one and you go around with this attitude of ‘I love me more,’ [what Samantha said in the Sex and the City movie, after she dumps a hot guy who helped her through cancer (and female audiences cheered)] well, a relationship is about reciprocity, so you need to love yourself and you need to be able to have some selflessness and love somebody else. Women take Samantha’s message as really empowering. If you don’t want to be alone—maybe Samantha does—that’s a dangerous message.”7. We think he needs to share every interest.
Gottlieb: “We say, ‘I’m a writer, but he doesn’t read! I’m creative.’ But people can be creative in different ways, and the fact that he doesn’t read the same books that you do, well, maybe he wants someone who he can talk about the baseball game with but you’re not that person. The guy doesn’t have to be one-stop shopping. You’re not going to share every single interest, and that’s okay. The shared interest should be, Do we want the same things out of life? Do we both want to be married right now?”
Fine, I admit, sedikit terasa dengan some of the points. ;P

Be it black or white...
....it's still a freaking moth!!!
Just imagine. 0300. Roomate is sleeping soundly. Oh wait, should be 'sleeping with sounds'. Weird clenching-teeth sounds. Tapi dah biasa, so lets just ignore that. Tak boleh tidur due to two things: a glass of Nescafe right before bedtime and tidur petang tadi. Bukak lampu meja since roommate dah tidur kan, tak nak kacau. You know how I'm all paranoid with this particular insect. Refer to this.
So yeah, it's pretty dark. Source of light daripada lampu meja and laptop sahaja. I suddenly heard a weird sound, guess what. A white moth is happily, erm, I dont know, dancing (?) against the lamp. I saw it few days ago in the living room, in broad daylight of course, and I thought it looked beautiful. Yes, it WAS. Tengah-tengah malam macam ni, it definitely was NOT beautiful. I panicked. Switched off the lamp. The good thing was the moth disappeared. The bad thing was, I don't know where it disappeared to! Fine, go wherever you want as long as you don't bother me.
Tenang semula. Continue buang masa stay up doing nothing.
Then tiba - tiba, "Poppppp!" The moth dropped onto my keyboard!!!!!!! Freaking scary wehhhhhh! I almost scream! Luckily saya orang bersemangat kuat, dan sangat considerate, maka jerit dalam hati jela.
Though hard to admit, I was actually pretty shaken. Memang tak nampak sangat, from the way I acted, but honestly, I was shocked! And since the creature just won't leave me alone I've got to do something. I can't have it roaming happily all over the screen! So bangun la, keluar bilik, bukak lampu luar bilik, then silently and patiently wait for the moth to get out of the room. Once it got out, cepat cepat masuk dalam bilik and tutup pintu! Of course, I left lampu luar tu on.Tapi sekarang dah off la. Farah tutup kot tadi. Heheh.
So now I'm all right. Back to normal. Pretty brave of me, don't you think?
P/s: I'm not scared of moth! I can hold them if you dared me too. It's just..under some circumstances.....
