I fully support Earth Hour and its objective : Unite to fight global warming!

I get the turning-off-the-light-to-show-unity thingy, but i'm concerned about one particular thing -
they turn off the lights, (okay..)
then they gather at Capsquare, (okay...)
and light the candles! (what??)

Dont they know that burning a.k.a combustion increases CO2 emission, which results in greenhouse effect, hence enhances global warming??
