A dream.

I rarely remember my dreams, but just because of one sentence i can't get this one particular dream out of my head.

"You're so full of yourself."

Am I? Really?

I don't even remember the other details. Just that sentence. It really bugged me. Maybe my inner self is trying to tell me something...

Ubat pertama saya...

Whoa..i handmade an ubat for the first time yesterday!

The Co-amilozide powders aren't worth bragging, actually, because i just crushed the tablets, add in 360 mg of lactose, triturate them properly and last but not least packed them into an origami. It is literally an origami because we have to follow unique folding instructions from Mr Farrukh in order for the paper to be made into a secure container for the powders. Nevertheless the trituration was really something - as much as i like playing with mortar and pestle, my right hand got tired after grinding for several minutes, and i cant imagine doing this whole tumbuk-sambal-belacan-thing for another 30 years of my life! You're right Farah, i think it's even worse than menumbuk sambal belacan.

Luckily the modern-day pharmacists dont do extemporaneous preparation anymore. Muchas gracias, technology!

Anyway, my second artwork was an oral solution of Ferrous Sulphate which is basically a mixture of ferrous sulphate, ascorbic acid, syrup, chloroform water and of course, distilled water. My lab partners (and myself, of course :)) managed to be the first group to have finish despite the fact we made a mistake in weighing at the start of the lab (use Class C balance ok, not Class A!). We can go back early, so it was really a relief!

I dont like labs because i'm not meticulous, and am really no good with little details. I am motivating myself to like labs, though, considering the fact that next week we have a MOCK PRACTICAL TEST!

Seriously.... I think I have to change my career. Menternak lintah sekarang dah untung kan??

hey: Sadly...all the fruits of our hardwork for the day either went down the drain or into the yellow 'hazard waste' plastic bag. I know I'm a beginner, but can't you just spare some appreciation to my first work?!!

Tak kisah. Okay je. Done it few times before.

Ngantuk la pulak lepas BBQ. Malas la nak nightwalk.

Time: Not sure, tertinggal jam. But it's quite late.
Majority nak nightwalk. Okie dokie.
Torchlight not allowed. Ladies first.

"Oh mak ko ade tangga!"
"Akar kayu weh, careful!"
"Rapat kanan, kiri ade lubang!"
"Tangga banyak banyak ahead..."
"Stop, stop! ade orang tertinggal!" (barisan perempuan terputus)
Pengajaran 1: Syukur dengan penglihatan.

The journey continues. Heading deeper into the forest. Bunyi sungai.

Someone tapped me lightly on the shoulder. Oh, the Uniten guy. Nak ape la nih.
"Stay here."
Gila. Eh, mana Atun? mana Mcja kat belakang tadi?
Nadet: "Zikir banyak-banyak.."
Smaku: "Berapa lama nak tunggu?"
Nadet: "Tunggu je.."
Smaku: "Nanti ade orang amek kan?"
Nadet: "Tunggu je."
Fine. Takkan nak merayu nak ikut. I have my pride. I stayed.

Pandang kiri kanan. Gelap. Duduk atas tunggul. Blakang ada sungai, depan hutan. Great. Pandang bawah jela.
Dubdabdubdabdubdabdubdab. Tachycardia. Time ni la all the senses jadi alert. Almost too alert. The rustling sound of leaves, the river, cengkerik, kumbang ke binatang ape ntah lagi time ni la nak bunyi. Selawat je smak. Selawat banyak2.
Tiba-tiba. Macam ada something approaching from right. Should i look? or should i not? What if it's not something i want to see. What if it's...... Curiosity kills the cat, no?
Aaargh! I peeked.
Nothing. Fewwhhhh~
"Ya Allah, jauhkan la makhluk-makhluk Mu yang berniat jahat terhadapku..Hanya Kau yang berkuasa melakukan sesuatu.."
Continue berzikir. Focus! You rarely have the time like this. Kini lebih tenang.
Pengajaran 2: Bila sorang2 baru tau, hanya boleh bergantung pada Nya. Takde benda lain yang boleh tolong.
